IV Vitamin Therapy
Once we’ve seen you for your mini-consultation before your first IV drip, we usually have a good idea of any nutrient imbalances. However, vitamin testing may be recommended to help us pinpoint exactly how much of an imbalance there is.
Why is this important? It allows us to ensure you are getting the best choice of drip or injection for your goals and needs, and allows us to tailor doses and ingredients to what your body requires.
G6PD is an enzyme that protects red blood cells from oxidative stress. High-dose vitamin C can decrease the function of these calls so when administering high-dose vitamin C from 30g onwards this test is required so we know you have a sufficient amount.
An affordable and accurate way of knowing if you have a vitamin D deficiency. Includes a mini consultation to review symptoms and medical history – all we need is a single drop of blood via a finger prick test which we test in our phlebotomy lab in the clinic.
A B12 test is often used to check for certain types of anaemia. We may test this if you’ve reported feeling low on energy. B12 deficiency is more common in vegan and vegetarians. This blood test checks if your body has enough B12 for optimal function.
Our mini profile gives you a good idea of your vitamin levels. It tests levels of vitamin D, magnesium, vitamin B12, folate, zinc, and iron.
Our extended nutrient profile gives you an in-depth view of your vitamin levels. It tests levels of vitamin D, magnesium, vitamin B12, folate, zinc, iron, calcium, copper, chromium, and manganese.
The NutrEval test is both a blood and urine test that evaluates over 125 biomarkers and assesses the body’s need for 40 antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids, digestive support, and more.
This tests the blood for key minerals in the body to identify any deficiencies in the levels required for normal functioning. This screen tests for levels of calcium, magnesium, zinc iron, copper, chromium, and manganese.
This tests the blood for food sensitivities. Unlike other IgG sensitivity tests, FIT measures 4 IgGs (type 1-4), inflammation (Complement screen of IC-C3d), IgA (1, 2) and gut barrier function (zonulin, occludin and candida).
** Only available for existing consultation patients due to the complexity of interpretation and ongoing support required.
We are able to offer many other nutrient tests. Please ask us for more information.
